captain Andy Butler
Capt. Andy has fishing in his blood. It is a way of life for him and has been since he was born. His father gave him the bug at an early age, fishing fresh water and the Chesapeake bay. Around the age of twelve, he was introduced to the blue water and fishing for the pelagic species out of Wachapreague, VA. Since then, he has been running his family boat for the past 8 years, fishing the Mid-Atlantic canyons and North Carolina’s Outer Banks from Oregon Inlet south to Beaufort Inlet. He has also been mating for traveling private sport fishing boats that visit OCMD in the summer season. His passion for fishing and the ocean is contagious and he love to share that passion with others.
Captain Casey ANderson
Capt. Casey has been fixated on fishing since before he could walk. Fishing Trips in a car seat fishing with his father for Bass and Rockfish sparked a burning passion for fishing. His younger years included freshwater and the Chesapeake Bay mostly but as he grew older, he discovered his passion for the ocean. A couple of trips to the continental shelf and he was hooked. Capt. Casey has travelled a bit as well including as far south in the US as Marathon, FL and a few destinations including Aruba and Belize. Capt. Casey has experience running boats for 12 years in total, 5 of which include the Mid-Atlantic canyons. He has also served as a first mate running the cockpits on several boats recreationally and for private sportfishing boats as free time allowed.
Captains Andy and Casey spent so much time together offshore that it was only sensible they partnered up to share their passions with everyone else. The purchase of Split Bill in 2022 has provided the perfect opportunity to make goals and dreams come true for them. Their goals are quite simple: bring our customers back with fish, put endless smiles on faces, and create memories we hope you never forget! We are kid friendly and look forward to growing the love of an exceptional sport with the next generation.
